I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the new year!
For today’s post, I am sharing my current favorites (and some oldies) for 2020. The list ranges from coffee, eats to various skin care products.
Let’s just go ahead start with my top favorite of this list, shall we?
Califia Unsweetened Cold Brew Coffee w/ Almondmilk: I tried this when I went to New York for the holidays. I used Classpass at a gym near my parent’s house and where I was, there were no
Starbucks coffee shops around. I went into the supermarket and spotted this in the fridge section. I was excited to find something with no sugar added, as I am not a fan of super sweet coffee. I added a couple of packets and stevia and it turned out really delicious.
Van’s Power Grain Waffles: I had a mean craving for waffles one day, but I didn’t want just any waffle. I wanted something that had a good chunk of protein. I spotted these on sale at Whole Foods and snagged a box.
These waffles have 10 grams of protein per two waffles. I like to top them with peanut butter, hemp seeds and frozen raspberries. So good and filling!Well Yes! Minestrone w/ Kale Soup: Let me start by saying, that I am not a soup person. However, this soup is delicious. I’ve been wanting to have a soup on hand that’s not only filling, but that I could have of hand in case I forget lunch at work or need a quick meal at home.
Tom’s of Maine Deodorant: While I do prefer the Arm & Hammer Essentials deodorant, I got this one for free. It’s not as effective as the other, but it’s perfect for my non-gym days. If you don’t sweat too much, this deodorant would be perfect.St. Ives Chamomile Daily Cleanser: My skin has become pretty sensitive after having the twins. I have been looking for a face wash that won’t cause me to break out. I finally found this one, which has been absolutely amazing on my skin. The St. Ives Apricot Acne Control Scrub has worked surprisingly well on my skin. During that “time of the month,” I get pretty bad breakouts, so this helps keep them at bay. I’ll use the scrub a couple of times a week, but use the daily cleanser twice a day (morning and night). This oatmeal lotion has been a favorite as well, especially for the winter months where my skin is really dry.
I’ve mentioned this in the past, but this eye repair cream for dark, puffy eyes is fantastic. I notice a huge difference if I am consistently using it at least once a day. These four products above are the only products I use as part of my “skin care” for face and body. I don’t use anything else. That wraps up the first [of many] favorites posts. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week and again, happy new year. 🙂
